Euro Destination India pvt Ltd has come forward with a giant wheel project in Amaravati with a cost of Rs 439.37 crore. Representatives of the company met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat on Wednesday and proposed that they could complete the wheel project in three phases.

Amaravati: Euro Destination India pvt Ltd has come forward with a giant wheel project in Amaravati with a cost of Rs 439.37 crore. Representatives of the company met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat on Wednesday and proposed that they could complete the wheel project in three phases.

Euro Destination company managing director M Krishna Rao and Fabi group (Italy based) president Geon Lukas made a presentation to Chief Minister and the Fabi group offered technical cooperation for the giant wheel project. They said the shape of giant wheel would be Buddha Chakra.

Chief Minister suggested them that the proposed giant wheel in Amaravati must be greater than the world’s largest giant wheels in Las Vegas (America) and some other famous giant wheels in New York and Singapore.

The Chief Minister also named for the giant wheel as ‘Amaravati Buddha Chakra’. He said that five resorts, shopping arena, water sports centre, budget hotels, convention centres, family recreation zone, social club and food courts would also be arranged at the giant wheel.

He also suggested officials to invite private companies, who were interested in this project and invite tenders as the giant wheel project would be one of the biggest tourist attraction in the proposed tourist city of Amaravati.
