He toured in Palasa and Narasannapeta Assembly segments in Srikakulam district on Monday. The Minister inaugurated water purification plant at Palasa, laid foundation stone for construction of water scheme at Budithi junction and participated in other locally arranged programmes.

Addressing a public meeting at Palasa High School, the Minister said the State division was made unscientifically and as a result, Andhra Pradesh lost assets and carried the burden of debts. But under the able leadership of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the State was overcoming hurdles and implementing various welfare schemes.

But Opposition parties were making baseless allegations against loan waiver even though they got benefit under it, he stated.
“We can show details if anybody came forward for open discussion,” Lokesh challenged. Power crisis was high in Congress regime and no employment guarantee works at that time but now we have surplus power and effectively implementing employment guarantee scheme works minister explained.

Government is planning to establish IT industry in Srikakulam also and all villages which are having even 250 and below population would get BT road connectivity, he assured.

Unable to digest public

response for government activities, opposition parties were resorting to cheap techniques like creating disputes between castes and regions, he said and added that the government will not tolerate such activities.

TDP State president and Energy Minister K Kala Venkata Rao, BC Welfare Minister K Atchannaidu, district in-charge Minister Pithani Satyannarayana, ZP chairperson, Ch Dhanalaxmi, MP K Rammohan Naidu, MLAs GSS Sivaji, G Laxmidevi and TDP district president G Sirisha accompanied Lokesh.
