The police recovered 30 grams of gold worth Rs 1 lakh and a laptop, stolen from the house of Sabeer at Barpet in the town on November 28, 2014. The arrested were identified as Syed Hazarat, Nanir, Imtiaz and Mullah Sharifuddin. The DSP appreciated Circle Inspector Chandrashekar and Sub-Inspector Vijay for nabbing the accused.
