TDP MLC Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Sunday flayed Professor Kancha Ilaiah over the title of his controversial book - 'Samajika smugglurlu komatollu' (Vysyas are social smugglers).
Speaking to the media in Tirupati, he said that Kancha Ilaiah had hurt the feelings of Arya Vysya community with the title of the book.
Stating that every person deserves respect, Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu advised Kancha Ilaiah to tender an apology to Arya Vysyas adding that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will take necessary action on the issue at an appropriate time.
