Chief Minister keen to develop Chittoor: Satyaprabha
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the District Collector and Chittoor Municipal Corporation Commissioner for initiating effective steps for developing Chittoor city as a role model in the state, according to Chittoor TDP MLA D A Satyaprabha. The MLA said a master plan was already submitted to the Chief Minister in this regard.
Chittoor: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the District Collector and Chittoor Municipal Corporation Commissioner for initiating effective steps for developing Chittoor city as a role model in the state, according to Chittoor TDP MLA D A Satyaprabha. The MLA said a master plan was already submitted to the Chief Minister in this regard.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Satyaprabha said that the Chittoor Assembly constituency has witnessed tremendous development in the last three-and-half years in the TD rule. She said that the Central government had included the Chittoor Municipal Corporation under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme.
The Centre would sanction Rs 300 crore for the development of Chittoor in a phased manner under the scheme, she added. “We have taken up the road expansion works in the city to overcome traffic menace,” the MLA said and exuded confidence that the TDP would win all the 14 Assembly constituencies in the next elections under the leadership of Chandrababu.
