Vijayawada: Manipal Hospitals conducted an awareness drive on heart ailments and its prevention for CRPF jawans to mark the World Heart Day here on Friday. IInd line Command TK Lal, 39th Battalion CRPF, unveiled free health checkup coupon (BP, height /weight, serum cholesterol, ECG, echo, FBS and cardiology consultation) for jawans. In addition to this, 1,000 coupons were distributed to jawans. Awareness talks on prevention of heart diseases and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) workshop was conducted.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Sudhakar Kantipudi, unit head, Manipal Hospitals, Vijayawada, said, “Manipal Hospitals has always been a front runner when it comes to championing a cause to create awareness.
