District Collector Kartikeya Mishra on Saturday chaired the annual general body meeting held at Collectorate with the Red Cross Society members and senior citizens in different fields.  Speaking on this occasion he requested the senior citizens to render their services and suggestions in the development of the city. 

Kakinada: District Collector Kartikeya Mishra on Saturday chaired the annual general body meeting held at Collectorate with the Red Cross Society members and senior citizens in different fields. Speaking on this occasion he requested the senior citizens to render their services and suggestions in the development of the city.

He said that he will arrange a special meeting with the smart city partners soon in the district.

He further said that he wants to spend some time with the senior citizens and in the Old Age Home for elders.

He also requested the officials to send their children to spend some time with the elders in old age homes. Mishra further told that Rajahmundry Air Port’s runway will be developed so that A320 type flights can come to this airport and runway development will be completed by
the Pongal. He further informed that Indigo is going to run flights from Rajahmundry to Bengaluru and Chennai. The senior citizens shared their views with the collector.
