Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu said that the TU 142M aircraft is going to inspire the future generations.

The Russian aircraft that was brought to the city on April 8 after 29 years to be converted into a Museum, was decommissioned in March at INS Rajali in Tamil Nadu.

The aircraft museum, which is being built at the Beach Road will be inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind in December.

The Chief Minister lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts for making the Indian Navy one of the most prominent powers in the world.
