Sambasiva Rao to continue as DGP for next two years

N Sambasiva Rao will continue to be the Director General of Police (DGP) for the next two years. The decision was taken by the Andhra Pradesh government based on his performance.

Currently, Sambasiva Rao is serving as in-charge DGP and he took charge in June 2016.

Also, the AP government will be sending the list of five senior IPS officers - Malakondaiah, Tagore, V K Kaumudi, Ramana Murthy and Sambasiva Rao to the UPSC.
