The stage is set for YS Jagan's massive padayatra. He will launch his 3000 km long, six month padayayatra to cover as many as 120 constituencies. The yatra will start from Rayalaseema and will end in the North Andhra region..


However, there is little clarity about the yatra as there are doubts about getting permission from the court. He has to get a nod from the court in view of the cases pending against him. The yatra depends on the permission from the court.

But, YSRCP leaders vouch that permission or no permission, the yatra would go on. YS Jagan too is practicing walking and brought about changes in his food habits to sustain himself during the yatra. The tour schedule and the route map have been okayed. He is also working on setting things right in various constituencies, where there are group fights and bickerings. He is also planning to directly talk to the leaders in the districts.

But, a section of the party believes that he may have to file petitions to avoid being present at the court hearings. Another section feels that repeated disruptions will only bring sympathy for him. They feel that once the yatra begins, all the impediments would vanish and the yatra would go on smoothly. However, a section of the party feels that the TDP might repeatedly interrupt his yatra through court cases.
