Adoni: I-Town police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prasad arrested 20 people playing cards near Rayalaseema Mills on Friday and seized Rs 5.23 lakh in cash, 19 mobile phones and seven bikes from them. Circle Inspector Subramaniam, Sub Inspectors Manmadha Vijay and Tummala Babu were in the team that conducted raids. The DSP said the card players keep changing places on regular basis. He said they have been gambling in lakhs of rupees.
