Well-known Gandhian peace activist from the US Bernie Meyer, who is also known as American Gandhi, will be visiting GITAM University on October 24. Meyer is globally recognised for his efforts to promote peace and non-violent conflict resolution.
Visakhapatnam: Well-known Gandhian peace activist from the US Bernie Meyer, who is also known as American Gandhi, will be visiting GITAM University on October 24. Meyer is globally recognised for his efforts to promote peace and non-violent conflict resolution.
He has been very successful in application of Gandhian methods to peaceful resolution of various community issues in the US over the past four decades. His writings are also acclaimed world over.
Meyer will be addressing GITAM students at Mother Teresa Auditorium as part of value-based lecture series at 10 am on that day. Meyer will distributed prizes for winners of various competitions organised for students, faculty and staff during the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations.
