Sri Venkateswara Children’s High School celebrated its 41st annual day celebrations Utsav-2017 at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Sunday. 

Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara Children’s High School celebrated its 41st annual day celebrations Utsav-2017 at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Sunday.

The 34 students from a single branch who secured 10/10 GPA in SSC 2017 examinations were felicitated by awarding medals. The speciality of Utsav-2017 is to bring out the hidden talents, creativity and to identify their abilities. The talents of about 1,500 students were brought out through 31 cultural items.

The school never missed the annual day celebrations during the last 41 years of journey including the convocation day to UKG children, said the correspondent KS Sridhar. The cultural programmes by children drew applause from the audience. They were surprised to see the daring blind fold dance.

Rally for Rivers, the dance creating awareness about the rivers, has made the audience to think about the importance of saving and protecting water. School secretary KS Vasu, vice-principal K Amritha, high school headmistress MV Krishna Kumari, primary wing headmistress S Madhavi and Adiministrative Officer B Chandra Babu took part.
