Two minor girls raped by trio
Two minor girls were allegedly raped by three youngsters including an auto-rickshaw driver under Araku Valley Police Station limits in Vizag Agency. Though the incident took place on Sunday, it came to light when the victims complained to the police on Tuesday.

According to the police, the girls (both are 17-year-old and first-year Intermediate students of a college in Araku Valley) had gone to Sunkarametta weekly market on Sunday for shopping to buy cloths and to meet their friends and relatives there.
While returning, the girls boarded a share auto-rickshaw wherein ten persons were already travelling, to return to Araku Valley from Sunkarametta.
As others passengers in the auto got down at their destination during the journey, the two girls were the only passengers in the vehicle.
Taking advantage, the auto driver stopped the vehicle and said that there was no petrol. He also called two of his friends who boarded the auto as passengers. The auto driver diverted the vehicle to an isolated place, where the trio raped the two girls and fled from the spot.
The victims narrated the episode to their parents on Monday. Inspector of Araku Valley Venku Naidu said that they registered a case and are investigating. The auto-driver S Raju has been taken into police custody for interrogation.
