CPM district committee meet from tomorrow
CPM State committee member Mantena Sitaram has said that the CPM district Committee’s 24th convention will be held here for three days from Saturday. Addressing the media on Thursday, Sitaram said that every three years, the party would conduct the district convention and review the peoples’ problems and agitations in the meeting. Eluru: CPM State committee member Mantena Sitaram has said that the CPM district Committee’s 24th convention will be held here for three days from Saturday. Addressing the media on Thursday, Sitaram said that every three years, the party would conduct the district convention and review the peoples’ problems and agitations in the meeting. He said that after 13years, the convention is going to be held in Eluru.
He said that the party convention would be conducted at Saradhi Kalyana Mandapam in Sanivarapupeta. CPM State Secretary P Madhu, Secretariat member Midiam Babu Rao, B Umamaheswara Rao will be attending the inaugural sessions. He further said that the party would elect a new committee during the three-day convention.
He reiterated that the CPM would fight for the cause of the people and against the State Government’s ‘anti-people’ policy. CPM State committee member Chintakayala Babu Rao said that the CPM had taken up agitations over the last three years as the TDP Government started oppression. In Tundurru, the police have registered 200 illegal cases. CPM district committee member P Kishore also participated in the meeting.
