Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank bags Best RRB Award
Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) General Manager JVS Prasad said that the bank was awarded with Best RRB Award for effective utilisation of technology for providing banking services in its service area of five districts in the region. The APGB also received MSME Award for providing financial assistance to small and medium companies, he added.

Th GM visited several branches in the district on Friday. Addressing the meeting at Regional Manager’s Office here, he advised the branch heads and field officers to facilitate customers in accessing banking services being provided by the bank at affordable rates and to make use of highest interest rate on deposits.
He added that the bank is offering highest interest rate of 7 per cent per annum on term deposits and 4 per cent on saving deposits. Senior citizens are offered highest interest rate of 7.6 per cent on term deposits, he added. Later, the GM and Regional Manager SV Ramasubba Rao felicitated the best field officers.
