Kakinada: JNTU, Kakinada, Public Relations Officer Sai Babu on Thursday informed that a two-day conference on progressive technologies in support of open source communities and the global free software initiative, organised by the Caravel One27, will start on December 15 and 16 at the Rangaraya Medical College.
Speaking to media, he informed that conference is aimed to target tier-2 cities unlike the metropolitan cities. He said that AP Special Chief Secretary and IT Advisor to the government J A Chowdary will be the chief guest for the conference. He hoped that 1,000 students likely to participate in the conference.
