Kurnool to host State-level Football Championship next year

Kurnool: District Olympic Organisation Secretary, C Ramanjaneyulu has said that the district is going to become a platform for State-level football competitions next year.

`Within the stipulated period there is need to transform the present grounds to suit for the competitions,’ he said during a selection process of senior athletes, male category.

The selection process was held at Outdoor Stadium here on Sunday. Ramanjaneyulu said that Kurnool district has already represented the State level football competitions.

The selected seniors have to bring trophy and fame to Kurnool, he said. He wished best wishes to the selected senior football athletes on this occasion.
