Training programme for advocates concludes
A two-day panel lawyers training programme concluded on the district court premises here on Sunday.
Visakhapatnam: A two-day panel lawyers training programme concluded on the district court premises here on Sunday. Addressing a gathering, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) S Damodar Rao said the training imparted by two trained mediators R Srinivasa Rao and T Subba Rao from Eluru has greatly helped the advocates to know various facets of law. There is a need to create legal awareness among the rights of women and disadvantaged sections of the society.
Second additional CBI Judge Satyaprabhakar, second ACMM Shammi Parvenn Begum, Senior Advocate and President of Forum of Legal Professionals Kuppili Muralidhar spoke on the writ jurisdiction and how the writs are filed in High Courts and Supreme Court.
The participant advocates from various corners of the district were given certificates by Secretary DLSA Damodar Rao. The programme was inaugurated by Principal District Judge PV Jyotirmai on Saturday.
