The leaders said they switched loyalties to Telugu Desam attracted by the welfare and developmental programmes taken up by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Political circles already anticipated many YSR Congress leaders will join TDP from Kurnool district, from where the opposition party won majority seats in 2014 elections, soon after YS Jagan wound up his Padayatra in the Rayalaseema district.
