The Two-day South India Regional Conference of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) concluded in Tirupati on Monday. A women convention was organised on this occasion under the chairmanship of Pushpa Seetaram Pareek.

Tirupati: The Two-day South India Regional Conference of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) concluded in Tirupati on Monday. A women convention was organised on this occasion under the chairmanship of Pushpa Seetaram Pareek. M Aruna from Rajahmundry, Sailaja from Visakhapatnam, Sujatha Rao from Chennai, Kantha from Bengaluru and other women delegates participated in the convention. They discussed about Empowerment of Women and the problems being faced by women in the society.

They also discussed about the implementation of the schemes meant for women & girls like Beti Bachao & Beti Padhao, Abhaya Bharathi, Jandhan Yojana, and other schemes. BD Patel from Bengaluru gave a lecture on Service and Publicity through BVP. In another discussion during the Conference, Sitarama Parek, Prof M Sundara Murthy, Suresh Jain, Ramesh Jain and Purushotham Sastry have given their speeches.

Prof M Sundara Murthy told the delegates that Youth should participate in the development of the nation. Senior member of BVP Subbaramaish Setty of Bengaluru was felicitated on this occasion. DR M Niranjan Babu, Dr GS Prasad, D Jayapal Chowdary, Muni Sreedhar Pillai, Prof Varma and other delegates participated in the Conference.
