The TTD is all set to observe 171st Aradhanotsavams of saint poet Tyagaraja Swamy on January 6 in a big way in Kakarla and Tirupati. In Kakarla, the home turf of Sri Tyagaraja Swamy in Prakasam district, the festival will be observed in Dhyana Mandiram.
Tirupati: The TTD is all set to observe 171st Aradhanotsavams of saint poet Tyagaraja Swamy on January 6 in a big way in Kakarla and Tirupati. In Kakarla, the home turf of Sri Tyagaraja Swamy in Prakasam district, the festival will be observed in Dhyana Mandiram.
In Tirupati, special abhishekam will be performed to the saint poet statue in SV College of Music and Dance. A procession from the college premises to Mahati Auditorium will be taken out and the artistes will render Tyagaraja sankeertanas.
