Chittoor: ZP Chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash has praised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for ensuring Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) water to drinking purpose for the western parts of the district. The ZP chief participated in a meeting at Nagaiah Kalakshetram here on Friday, on the successful completion of Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Girvani said that the Telugu Desam government is committed to develop Chittoor city as role model. Despite facing difficulties in the last three-and-a-half years, the Chief Minister has developed the state as an industrial hub, the ZP chief said.

She stated that Minister Nara Lokesh has been instrumental in establishing several industries in the district. Girvani said the Janmabhoomi programme was concluded successfully.

She gave credit to the TDP leaders and government officials for making the programme successful. Girvani said the Chief Minister and Nara Lokesh took part in Janmabhoomi programmes held in Tirupati and Kuppam constituencies respectively.

More than 1.5 lakh grievances received by officials were uploaded for processing. “The government has made it clear that all the grievances received in the fifth phase of Janmabhoomi will be attended,” she added.
