An eight-member delegation from Joint Stock Company, United Shipbuilding Corporation, Moscow, led by Director of Military and Technical Corporation Alexey V Dikiy arrived here on January 10 to discuss the modalities for executing medium refit and life certification of EKM Class submarine.
The Russian team was impressed with the infrastructure, experience and readiness of Hindustan Shipyard Limited to undertake the prestigious project. According to HSL sources, the Russian team gave its nod for the project.
