Prabhu Das, Vedadri win championship
Prabhu Das and E Vedadri of Kothuru Tadepalli, Vijayawada Rural mandal won the EVE Badminton Doubles Seniors Championship which concluded at Kothuru Tadepalli on the occasion of Sankranthi festival on Tuesday night. E Bhanu Seethal and Simhadri Jagadeesh won the juniors doubles title. EVE organisation has been conducting the Badminton tournament for the past five years.

In the seniors finals, Vedadri and Prabhu Das defeated P Vasu (P Nainavaram) and Ranjith (Velagaleru) and bagged the EVE trophy. In juniors finals, E Bhanu Seethala and Jagadeesh won against Simhadri Hari Krishna and Pamarthi Nagababu of K Tadepalli and clinched the title.
In this connection, Helping Hands Organisation president M Sivarama Krishna, BVSL College principal P Srinivasa Rao, businessman Mahesh presented the trophies to the winners and runners.
