SV Goshala set up to protect desi cows: Anil Kumar Singhal
Protection and promotion of the progeny of desi cows is the primary aim of TTD, said Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal.
Tirupati: Protection and promotion of the progeny of desi cows is the primary aim of TTD, said Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal. After participating in the Gopuja held at SV Goshala here on Tuesday, the EO informed the media that the Goshamrakshana Trust of TTD has been established with a motto to protect desi breeds. Singhal stated that the TTD is spending Rs 8 crore on cow protection every year and extending financial support for private dairy farms.
Under the instructions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, we are also bringing awareness among dairy farmers on traditional farming technique like using Panchagavya products in organic farming etc,” the EO added.
Anil Kumar informed that donors are keen to promote Goshamrakshana as a donor had donated Rs 11.11 crore to SV Goshamrakshana Trust on December 26, 2017. Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar, and Dairy Farm Director Dr Harnath Reddy were also present.
