Joint Sub-Registrar suspended
Sina Naik, Joint Sub-Registrar at SRO, Hindupur was suspended by the in-charge DIG Abraham for his alleged involvement in shady land deals relating to unauthorised registration of APIIC lands by colluding with APIIC personnel.
Hindupur (Anantapur): Sina Naik, Joint Sub-Registrar at SRO, Hindupur was suspended by the in-charge DIG Abraham for his alleged involvement in shady land deals relating to unauthorised registration of APIIC lands by colluding with APIIC personnel.
A couple of years ago, Naik, a senior assistant, acted as in-charge Joint Sub-Registrar and had allegedly engaged in shady land deals. An enquiry was ordered into the issue and the DIG found prima-facie evidence against the accused.
The DIG issued suspension orders to Naik on Thursday and also ordered a departmental inquiry into his involvement in land scams. DIG Naik told 'The Hans India' that none who indulges in land scams or irregularities would be spared. He said that a departmental probe has been ordered against the accused.
