Vijayawada: The women wing of BJP lodged a complaint with Suryaraopet police here on Friday against Ramgopal Varma's new movie GST objecting to its release in city theatres.
They expressed concern over the movie stating that it would show women in poor light and also show disrespect towards them. BJP State committee president K Naga Lakshmi said the movie was shot only to malign the image of women.
She demanded that the government should not allow such kind of films. BJP city vice-president Sharmila Khan, general secretary Chagarlamudi Gayathri and others were present.
