Reviewing the city development works with the officials of various departments at the Collector’s camp office here on Friday, he said it has been contemplated to allow vehicles at Durga temple.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu released Rs 10 crore recently for expediting flyover works, he said and added that the work was going on a brisk pace to complete the project by August.

He said that only six spans are yet to be completed and the work would be completed by March. The Collector also said that the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium would be developed under Public Private Partnership. The canals would be developed spending Rs 61 crore under beautification project.

The encroachments would be renewed and pattas would be given for 40,000 residents of the city, he said. A detailed project report (DPR) is being readied for the pollution-free city, he said.
