Bhavanipuram police traced two minor girls, who went missing from the city, and brought back and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee in the city on Wednesday. According to information, the two minor girls aged 14 and 17 respectively escaped from Abhaya Shelter Home in Bhavanipuram on February 7.

According to information, the two minor girls aged 14 and 17 respectively escaped from Abhaya Shelter Home in Bhavanipuram on February 7.

One girl went to Ongole and the other to Tenali. The city police campaigned vigorously about the missing girls. Local residents of Ongole and Tenali identified the girls and informed Bhavanipuram police.

Earlier, Joint Commissioner of Police Kanti Rana Tata formed four teams to search the missing girls. These two girls were safely brought to the city and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee on Wednesday. Kanti Rana Tata congratulated the Bhavanipuram police for tracing the minor girls.
