Three receive burns as they fall into agnigundam
Three people were seriously injured when they accidentally fell into an Agnigundam which was arranged in the premises of Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Rayachoti town in the early hours on Sunday.
Kadapa: Three people were seriously injured when they accidentally fell into an Agnigundam which was arranged in the premises of Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Rayachoti town in the early hours on Sunday. The injured persons are identified as K Ramalakshmamma (45), V Lakshmi Devi (30) and A Ananand (35). The incident occurred at about 4.15 a.m.
According to temple EO T Manjulamma, as part of Veerabhadra Swamy Brahmotsavams, Agnigundam programme was held in the premises. Devotees in large numbers thronged to the event leading to stampede and three devotees accidentally fell in the gundam.
Immediately, they were taken out and were shifted to private hospitals. The condition of K Ramalakshmamma of Rayachoti with 45 per cent burns is stated to be critical.
