Now the TDP is sending feelers after realising that Special Category Status is the 'sanjeevini' for Andhra Pradesh at this point of juncture. If any move opposing or ignoring the opposition parties' call, the TDP would lose heavily as 2019 elections nearing in.

The TDP Co-ordination Committee has discussed the issue at length at Praja Darbar hall at CM Camp office in Vundavalli here in Vijayawada.

It is learnt that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked his party leaders to highlight how the opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy had been provoking people by raising the special status issue. On the other side, Chandrababu Naidu has decided to drive away the point that — when other states have secured special status tag, why the Andhra Pradesh state is igonred.
