Participating in ‘Andhrula Atma Gourava Deeksha’ held at Jangareddigudem RDO office demanding the all-round development of the state, Tulasi Reddy said that so far, the TDP government did not get any funds or rights to the residuary Andhra Pradesh in its stint. As Central budget time was due for only one month, he said before that we must fight to get a special category status and funds to the state.

The PCC leader said even the people of the state vote for TDP or YSRCP in 2019 elections, no special category status would be accorded by the Centre to the state.

He made it clear that Congress is the only party to get or sanction the special category status to the state and assured that after 2019 elections, the Congress will come to power at the Centre and Rahul Gandhi will be the Prime Minister. After assuming charge as Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi will sign the first file of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, he assured.
