The Election Commission of India has announced schedule for the conduct if biennial election to 3 Rajya Sabha MP seats each in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
The Election Commission of India has announced schedule for the conduct if biennial election to 3 Rajya Sabha MP seats each in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
As per the schedule, notification will be issued on March 5. The last date to receive applications is March 12 and scrutiny will be done on March 13. The last date to withdrawal of applications is March 15. Polling and counting will be held on March 23.
From Telangana, CM Ramesh and Rapolu Andhra Bhaskar are completing their term in April and the third seat fell vacant after the death of Congress leader Palwai Goverdhan Reddy last year. In Andhra, T Defender Goud, Chiranjeevi and Renuka Chowdhury are retiring from the posts.
