Women backbone of family: Dora

Visakhapatnam: One day motivation training programme on ‘Empowering women for excellence’ was organised at APEPDCL corporate office here on Thursday. The programme was mainly conducted for women employees of the corporate office and operation circle, Visakhapatnam.

Chairman and Managing Director of APEPDCL HY Dora inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp, along with his wife H Susheela Dora. Speaking on the occasion, the CMD said that women are back bone of the family and they need to tackle gender inequalities. Empowering women is to make them independent in all aspects. Women empowerment is vital for family, society and country, Dora said.

Chief General Manager V Vijayalalitha said that women empowerment has the power to change things in society and country. She pointed out that women are progressing in all fields.

CEO of Drona Consultancy Suresh Betha imparted training and discussed stress management, wellness, including nutrition, quality parenting, balanced life, motivation, creative and behavioural skills at work places.

APEPDCL Directors TVS Chandrasekhar, B Seshu Kumar also spoke on the occasion. Executive Director B Ramesh Prasad, CGMs P Nageswara Rao, GM of HRD MY Koteswara Rao and all the women employees of the corporate office and operation circle office of Visakhapatnam were present.
