Those in need of passports can directly apply online at the passport seva Kendra and track the progress of their application by logging into http://www.passportindia.gov.in website. In the first phase, on can apply online by logging in and securing a log in number. After filling the form, on can furnish the documents and give biometric fingerprints and signature.
After verification and police investigation, the passport would be issued within 15 days.
