Elderly couple found murdered in Gudivada
In a gruesome incident, an elderly couple was brutally murdered at Rajendra Nagar in Gudivada town in the early hours of Saturday. Unidentified persons murdered the couple with lethal weapons and fled with their car and valuables.

According to One Town police, realtor Boppana Sai Chowdary (72), and his wife Nagamani were found dead at their residence at Rajendra Nagar in Gudivada. The maid went to their home as usual at 9 am and noticed the two bodies lying in a pool of blood. The incident depicted a scene that the couple had a scuffle with the assailants, who brutally murdered them.
Police pressed sniffer dogs into service and the Clues team collected clues from the scene of offence. It is observed that the known persons could have murdered the couple. Shocked over the incident, hundreds of local residents rushed to the spot. Sai Chowdary was one of the noted realtors in Gudivada town. The couple is survived by two daughters and son.
Police suspected that murder took place due to personal grudge or financial issue. Interestingly, the miscreants have not taken the gold jewellery which were worn by the victim Nagamani after the murder. Krishna district Superintendent of Police S Tripati is monitoring the progress of the case. Circle Inspector DV Venkataramana said the post-mortem was conducted and bodies were handed over to the family members. He said the miscreants were not identified so far and investigation is on.
