BJP leaders preventing debate on no-confidence motion, alleges Yanamala
Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu accused the BJP leaders that they were preventing the no-confidence Motion in the Parliament, in an informal interaction with the reporters at the Assembly on Wednesday.

He pointed out that despite the din prevailing in the House, the Central government tabled all the Bills of their interest and ensured passing of the Bills.
At the same time, they were creating hurdles and saying that the House was not in order hence they could not admit the no-confidence motion, he explained. Ramakrishnudu stated that, “Moving the motion is right of the members and it is the responsibility of the Speaker to admit it and create favourable environment for discussion on it.”
The BJP leaders were managing the things in such a manner that the debate was not taking place in the House on the no-confidence motion moved by the TDP, he said.
“The BJP is committing the same mistake which the Congress did while passing AP Reorganisation bill in Parliament in 2014,” he added. Despite the protests in the House, the Central government managed to pass all the Bills related to finance and other important Bills whatever they need, at the same time they were not allowing the discussion on the no-confidence motion, he regretted.
Ramakrishnudu demanded that the Central government and the BJP leaders should allow the motion for discussion and should prove themselves.
Reacting on Polavaram funds, the Finance Minister stated that the Central government could not stop the funds for the project as the TDP passed moved the no-confidence motion. The Polavaram Project funds are being released to the State government as per law, he pointed out.
The Polavaram Project works are being executed under the supervision of the Central government authorities, he explained. The Centre and BJP leaders could not dictate the State government on the welfare schemes, he added. The State government need not take opinions and suggestion from the Central government to implement the welfare schemes in the State, Ramakrishnudu said.
Reacting on the revenue deficit pertaining to bifurcation, he observed that the Central government has to follow the findings of the CAG report. The Finance Minister further explained that the NITI Aayog also gave clarity on the revenue deficit and the Central government must consider all these things.
