Conserve water for future: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said if the Government and the people do not wake up early and take corrective measures, the state would face acute water scarcity and the development would come to a grinding halt.

Chandrababu, who spoke in AP Assembly on the occasion of the World Water Day, said that water problem should be solved by creating awareness among the people and by making them partners in the endeavours.

He said like his earlier flagship programme Neeru Meeru, the current government’s Neeru Chettu programme too would bring a sea change in the attitude of the people towards water conservation.
