Double murder shocks Pulivendula town

Two persons were battered to death with iron rods in Pulivendula of Kadapa district. The deceased, identified as Ashok and Khader Pasha were residents of Bakrapuram.

Ashok was killed in Jayamma Colony and Pasha at ring road near Pulivendula town in broad daylight.

The killings came to light after a woman, her husband and two others have surrendered before police. The group confessed to committing double murder.

According to the police, the married woman was being harassed by the two for a long time. Vexed with the duo’s harassment, the woman along with her husband and family members attacked them with iron rods.

A case was registered against them and the police took them into custody.
