National Defence College team accorded warm welcome
Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust MT Krishna Babu accorded a warm welcome to Major General Harkirat Singh and his team of officers of 58th National Defence College here on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust MT Krishna Babu accorded a warm welcome to Major General Harkirat Singh and his team of officers of 58th National Defence College here on Wednesday.
The Chairman made a PowerPoint presentation and explained the infrastructure available in the port. The Chairman informed that Visakhapatnam Port bagged second cleanest port among all the major ports in the country and also stood in top three positions in the performance index as per the survey conducted by an independent organisation in coordination with Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The NDC team enquired about business being carried out by the VPT. Deputy Chairman of VPT PL Haranadh, heads of the departments, senior officers were present at the meeting.
