Amaravati: Minister for Labour, Employment and Training Pitani Satyanarayana has approved the orders on increase of wages by 50 per cent to outsourcing staff in ITI colleges.

The Minister at Secretariat on Thursday said the wages of outsourcing staff such as Assistant Training Officers, Data Entry Operators, office subordinates and watchmen were increased by 50 per cent and the enhanced wages would be implemented from April 1.

He said around 665 employees would benefit with the decision. He also said state government was giving priority to create employment to unemployed youth and focusing on welfare of labour.
