Veteran film actor and TDP MP Murali Mohan and others took strong exception to the MLC Comments and lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. During teleconference, the leaders brought the MLC issue to Chandrababu's notice. While another section of leaders supported Rajendra Prasad comments.
The majority legislators felt the joining of Tollywood actors in the ongoing struggle for special status will help to strengthen the movement.However, Rajendra Prasad has withdrawn his comments and said his comments were not to hurt anyone.
