MLA Bode Prasad requested the government to issue at least pink ration cards to the applicants. He said that the public were asking the MLAs during their visits in the villages. The pink cardholders want to use the cards for identity purpose, he said.

MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Prasad said that the government stopped issuing pink ration cards for the past several years. He said the people were waiting forration cards. In case of transfers of families, the government should also transfer the cards through online, he suggested.
