RMC warns cell tower owners on tax evasion
RMC Commissioner V Vijaya Rama Raju has warned the owners of various cell towers that the corporation will take stern action against them if they fails to pay taxes to the corporation immediately.
Rajamahendravaram: RMC Commissioner V Vijaya Rama Raju has warned the owners of various cell towers that the corporation will take stern action against them if they fails to pay taxes to the corporation immediately.
Addressing the officials of city planning wing here on Friday, he informed that owners of as many as 25 cell towers evaded tax payment to the corporation and directed the officials to collect the taxes from them within one week and stop power supply to the cell towers if they fail to pay the amounts. The corporation was not ready to loose its income, as it was the duty of corporation to provide amenities to the people, the civic chief added.
City Planner Ram Kumar said the house owners were also not able to give proper reply in this regard and assured to collect taxes from the owners of cell towers.
