Paduka yatra continues on second day
Kanchi Paramacharya Paduka Yatra was conducted for the second consecutive day in the city on Monday. Scores of devotees participated and had the darshan of Padukas with religious fervour. The celestial fete commenced from Sri Rama Temple at Moolagoyyi and reached Sri Uma Kotilingeswara Swamy Temple covering Sitampeta and Bruhannalapeta. Pujas were performed to Padukas at the temple.

Later in the evening, the Padukas brought to Bhu Neela Sametha Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Zamindar Metta where many a devotee had their darshan. Later, the yatra continued in Sriram Nagar, Lalitha Nagar and in the evening the yatra came to an end at Saraswathi Ghat.
Local channel managing director Pantham Kondala Rao, Thota Subba Rao, Dr A Padmalatha, E Prasad, corporator MD Prasad, APIIC former chairman Srighakollapu Sivarama Subramanyam and many others particiapated.
