BJP & TDP Groups Clash in Andhra
The controversial comments made by TDP leader and film hero Balakrishna against Prime Minister Narendra Modi stirred up political storm in Andhra Pradesh.
The controversial comments made by TDP leader and film hero Balakrishna against Prime Minister Narendra Modi stirred up political storm in Andhra Pradesh.
While staging dharnas, the ruling Telugu Desam Party and BJP cadre clashed each other in many parts of the state. In Nellore district, the two party groups fought on the roads. Police swung into action and dispersed the mobs.
The BJP leaders also burnt the effigy of Balakrishna. Senior BJP leader Somu Veerraju lambasted Balakrishna for making comment on Modi. He demanded the TDP leader to tender unconditioned apology to Prime Minister.
Another group of BJP leaders met Governor ESL Narasimhan and lodged complaint against Balakrishna. They demanded to take action for making controversial statements against PM. In several parts of the state , police security beefed up to prevent any untoward incidents
