The BJP has already staged protests and courted arrests. There are reports that the Governmor too would be submitting a report on Balakrishna’s speech to show the anti-Centre attitude of the TDP leaders. Meanwhile, the BJP is also angry at the TDP attempts to turn the Telugu voters in Karnataka against the BJP.

A report to this effect has already reached the central leadership of the BJP. Telugu actor and dialogue king Sai Kumar, who is contesting on a BJP ticket from Bagepalli constituency in Chikballapur district, has clearly said that he is not going to invite Balakrishna to campaign for him. The industry feels that had Dasari Narayana Rao been there, the situation would not have got out of hands. He would have dealt with the issue in a very effective manner like a statesman.
