BJP leader and founder trustee of Gangamma temple C K Babu and his wife Lavanya have participated in the Suprabhata seva to Goddess Gangamma. The organisers made elaborate arrangements to devotees for hassle-free darshan.
Chittoor DSP Subba Rao has supervised the security arrangements. There is a strong belief among the devotees that the city will get bountiful rains on the last day of jatara. However, the belief was disproved as there was no rain on Wednesday.
