Old lion dies

A 29-year-old lion Arjun died here at the Animal Rescue Centre due to old age in the early hours of Thursday. According to curator of Indira Gandhi Zoological Park Yesoda Bai R, the lion Arjun received from the Gemeni Circus, Kolkata, outlived and completed its life span and died due to multiple organ failure.
